Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce announces 67th annual awards recipients
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Dec. 16, 2025) – The Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce is out with its list of member award winners for 2025 as determined by public nominations and a selection committee.
Chamber President Scott Robinson says Eleet Cryogenics of Bolivar is the “Large Business of the Year”. Garry Sears founded the company in 1996. It now has six facilities in the Bolivar Industrial Park and another in Texas.
Robinson says the “Small Business of the Year” award goes to Breitenbach Wine Cellars of Sugarcreek, founded by Duke and Cynthia Bixler in 1980 – and attracting visitors ever since.
Others include Springvale Health Centers as “Organization of the Year” and Dover attorney and school board member John Maxwell as “Citizen of the Year”.
“Educator of the Year” is New Philadelphia High School intervention specialist Aimee Voll.
Buckeye Career Center’s Frank Polen is “Volunteer of the Year” for his involvement with various chamber activities.
Ferris Chevrolet Buick’s Bill Ferris of New Philadelphia is the “Hall of Fame” recipient.
The winners will be celebrated at the 67th awards banquet on January 21st at the Kent State Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center.
