Tuscarawas County Health Department to host two pop-up events
DOVER (WJER) (Sept. 10, 2024) – The Tuscarawas County Health Department is providing free blood pressure checks and Hepatitis C tests as part of two pop-up events this week.
The first one is today from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army in New Philadelphia.
Spokesperson Jennifer Demuth says they’re also offering pregnancy resources and reproductive health guidance at these pop-ups.
“This is a good time to actually talk with one of our Tuscarawas County Health Department nurses about how to make sure you and your partner are in the best health to have a healthy and thriving family,” Demuth said.
This week’s second pop-up event with these same services is Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at the YMCA in Dover. Both will have free giveaways, while supplies last.
