Tusky Valley continuing football stadium upgrades

| January 14, 2026

The Tusky Valley Trojans Facebook page includes renderings of a proposed stadium upgrade.

ZOARVILLE – Tusky Valley is proposing a $5 million upgrade to its stadium after completing a $2 million turf project last year.

Superintendent Derek Varansky says the latest proposal is still a few years down the road, and the School Board has not allocated any funds to it.

The goal is to build a nearly 8,000-square-foot home-side complex and a 4,500-square-foot visitor-side complex.

Varansky says the district is starting a capital fundraising campaign that will involve the athletic, band and choir boosters. He says the district also continues to accept sponsorships for the turf project that was completed last year.

Tusky Valley has a couple of other projects in the works – a wellness center and a legacy patio between the elementary and middle-high school building. Varansky says officials are finalizing funding before completing those two projects.
