Tusky Valley girls, Dover boys win Thrilla in Zoarvilla
In high school track, the Thrilla in Zoarvilla was Friday at Tusky Valley High School.
The Dover boys doubled the score of second place United to take first place. First place finishes for the Tornadoes came from the 4×100 relay, 4×400 relay, 4×800 relay, Justice Hughes in the 110 hurdles, and J.J. Barton in the 200 and 400.
On the girls side, Tusky Valley won over second-place Dover 154.33 to 107. The Trojans got first-place finishes from the 4×800, four by 400 relay, 4×200 relay, Ella McElwee in the 200 and 400, Cara Pipitone in the 300 hurdles, Emma Howard in the 100. Dover’s Sydney Stevenson had a big day, winning the 800 and 1600.
