WJER staffers among county’s 2024 Leading Ladies

| March 25, 2024
WJER's own Amy Smith and Mandy Garver are among Tuscarawas County's 40 Leading Ladies for 2024.

DENNISON (WJER) (March 25, 2024) – Another 40 women making a difference in Tuscarawas County are being recognized as Leading Ladies.

Dennison Depot Marketing Coordinator Taylur Cunningham made the inaugural class in 2023 and got to help pick this year’s honorees. (She says the response was so positive that they decided to recognize even more deserving women.)

“It’s a voting process as well. So the first is nominations, and then they send it back out to the group to vote to see who wins out of the nominations. It’s something that we definitely look forward to continuing. We’ve had a very positive response overall. Seeing all the leadership from women within our county has been amazing.”

We now have four Leading Ladies here at WJER. Sales Manager Mandy Garver and General Manager Amy Smith join fellow staffers Michele Spring and Hannah Hartman, who were among last year’s honorees.

“And Amy spoke at our Women’s Success Series recently, too. So we really enjoy kind of lifting up the leaders and recognizing them for all the amazing things they’re doing in Tuscarawas County.”

The complete list with photos is on the Dennison Depot’s Facebook page. A ceremony honoring all 40 Leading Ladies will follow the June 7th Women’s Success Series presentation featuring another 2023 leading lady and former WJER employee: Buckeye Career Center Public Relations Coordinator Shyanne Carroll.
