Uhrichsville opens 2026 with swearing‑in of council members and council president
UHRICHSVILLE (WTUZ ) (Jan. 9, 2026) – Uhrichsville City Council began the new year by officially swearing in its council president and three council members during the first meeting of 2026.
Council President Robert “Buck” Cottrell took the oath of office administered by Tuscarawas County Southern District Judge JJ Ong.
Three council members were then sworn in:
- Barbara Colvin (returning)
- Larry Malterer (returning)
- Robert Baker, who previously served on council several years ago
All four officials will serve terms lasting through December 2029.
