Uhrichsville Seeks Approval of Renewal Levy

| November 2, 2026

UHRICHSVILLE (Nov. 2, 2026) (WTUZ) – City officials are asking voters to continue an operating levy that supports basic city functions.

Mayor Jim Zucal says the renewal helps fund street paving, community cleanup, and other routine improvements — noting it is not a new tax, but an ongoing operating expense used “to make our community better.”

Issue 10 would extend the levy for five years at a rate not exceeding 2.8 mills, generating just over $141,000 annually. The cost to property owners is about $41 per $100,000 of assessed value.
