UHRICHSVILLE – The mayor is taking some time off to address a medical situation.
A Monday morning announcement from the city does not specify what Mayor Jim Zucal is dealing or how long he will be absent. It wishes him a speedy recovery.
City officials say there are no further comments at this time.
City Council President Buck Cottrell will serve as mayor in the interim.
The mayor’s administrative assistant Bonnie Coventry was planning on working her last day on Monday, but she has decided to stay considering these recent developments.
