DENNISON  (WJER) (May 16, 2022) – The Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office says three Uhrichsville men have been taken into custody for the death of a Belmont County man who was found dead in a car along McKee Rd just after 4:30 am Sunday.

Tuscarawas County Coroner Dr. Jeff Cameron says the victim, 37-year-old John Q. Bashline II of Powhatan Point, had a single gunshot wound to the chest.

The sheriff’s office says video footage and other evidence led to the arrests of 36-year-old Dale Sanders, 37-year-old Michael Reynolds, and 26-year-old Dominic Reynolds.

Sanders will be charged with the shooting death of Bashline.

All three are also facing charges of abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

Investigators believe the shooting was unintentional and happened at a Feed Springs Rd. SE home as the result of heavy drinking and the reckless handling of a firearm.

Authorities discovered the body of John Q. Bashline, 37, of Belmont County in a car parked along McKee Road early Sunday morning.
