Teacher Wish Lists

Adoration Christian School

Ms. Alicia
I am a 2 & 3rd Grade Teacher at Adoration Christian School in Dover. We are going into our 4th year as a school and growing rapidly. Teaching is the most fulfilling thing in life to me and I just love investing into my students each year! As a new school we are limited on our budget and so the help with support from my wishlist is extremely helpful. We try to provide a top-notch quality education but also believe in making it fun. We also aim to put God and spiritual development first in our classrooms. I especially LOVE making the classroom experience a BLAAST every year, with a theme that is full of constant encouragement to keep the kids learning as much as they can. Last year, my theme was based off of Candyland and the kids got to play a game for points all year long! It was so fun!! This year there will be a similar experience, but with a “galaxy flare” and where we will have the theme “Illumimate”, which is all about Light! I appreciate any and all support at all and know that even the littlest gifts will be amazing! Thank you for considering helping and for all the support you put to any teacher out there! It’s not for us, it’s all for them! Each kid matters 100%!!!

Ms. Hamsher
Thank you for helping make our year in fourth grade a great one. I love to make my classroom a welcome and inviting space. I have items in my list that are directly for students and items that will help in our day to day activities, as well as a few to help make my flow easier. I love to incorporate candy into my room. I have a prize wheel and whenever we have a guest come to our room, the students have to greet the adult and ask how they are that day. The students can then invite the adult to spin the prize wheel. Both the guest and students have a chance to win a piece of candy. This is a hit each year with the students and with our guests. I also love to read to my students and included a few new titles for our library. Thank you again!
