The event
On Wednesday, April 26th, author Amy Butcher will talk about her book Mothertrucker: Finding Joy on the Loneliest Road in America. It is the story of Butcher’s 400 mile journey through Alaska as a passenger in the big rig of Joy “Mothertrucker” Wiebe, the nation’s only female ice road trucker. The two women found meaning, strength, and friendship in one of the most punishing and magnificent landscapes on earth. The program will be held at 6:30pm at the Dover Library.
