Dover Public Library to Host Fly-Fishing Class
The event
The Dover Public Library, located at 525 N. Walnut Street, will host an introductory class on fly-fishing on Saturday, June 28 at 1:00 PM in the library’s Community Room. Participants will learn the basics of fly-fishing, fly-tying and fly-casting. The program will also feature a time at Dover City Pond where participants can practice fly-casting techniques. The program will be presented by Dr. Jerry Stebbins from Bethany College in Bethany, WV. Dr. Stebbins will also present briefly on a new competitive fly-fishing team at Bethany, as well as about scholarship opportunities for students interested in the college’s fly-fishing team.
