The event

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host local historian Noel Poirier in a program titled “In the Shadow of Zoar: The 1947 Murder of John Myers” on Wednesday, June 18th at 6:30PM and its Main Library.
Poirier will be covering the case of John Myers. From a life of hard labor to a mysterious death outside a quiet tavern, the story will unravel a forgotten tragedy in Tuscarawas County.
The Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave NW, New Philadelphia. Registration is required and can be done by visiting the library’s online event calendar at tusclibrary.org or calling 330-364-4474.
