Programs on joint pain

The event

Dr. John D. Idoine III, D.O,. an orthopaedic surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital will present two programs about two of the most common conditions that develop over time as we age – knee pain and shoulder pain. The first program Knee Pain 101 will be held on Wednesday, September 17. Dr. Idoine will discuss the causes of knee pain, how a diagnosis is determined and decisions on when to treat conservatively. He will also share the newest advancements in surgical care. 

The second program Shoulder Pain 101 will take place on Tuesday, September 23. During this session, Dr. Idoine will focus on the causes, diagnoses and newest advancements in surgical care of shoulder pain.

Dr. John D. Idoine, III is a native of nearby Knox County and is fellowship trained to treat complex conditions in the shoulder and elbow. He has published articles in several professional journals and presented his findings at several symposiums. He enjoys golf and ice hockey, drumming and traveling.

These free lectures aim to equip individuals with a better understanding of knee and shoulder pain, its management, and preventive measures for maintaining optimal joint health.
