Annual Canal Town Book Festival Comes Back to Dover

The event
The 4th Annual Canal Town Book Festival will be held on Saturday, October 4 from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM in the old gymnasium at Dover High School, located at 520 N. Walnut Street. An author fair with over 50 authors will be on hand to meet the public and sign and sell copies of their books. Admission to the Book Festival is free and open to all. Guests are asked to use the entrance on 6th Street.
Five “author led” panel discussions will also take place for the public:
10:00 AM-How to Make Worlds Collide: World Building
10:00 AM-Characters that Breathe: Building Characters Who Own the Story
11:30 AM-Crafting a “Whodunnit”
1:00 PM-DIY Publishing with Amazon/KDP
1:00 PM-An Author’s Journey: Mindy McGinnis
Other events will include kids activities such as face painting, story time, a photo booth and a coloring station. Raffle prizes will also be available–For every $5 spent on books you will earn a raffle ticket with the potential to win a selection of fabulous raffle prizes. Food trucks will also be on hand.
