TALES FROM TUSCARAWAS COUNTY MURDER AND MAYHEM at Dover Library
The event
Local author and historian Noel B.Poirier will be at the Dover Public Library on Tuesday, November 11 at 6:30 PM to discuss his book, Tuscarawas County Murder & Mayhem. Poirier’s book reveals some of the darker happenings that have unsettled residents of Tuscarawas County in the past. The stories include a case of extortion, an incident of grave robbing and a bombing. Poirier will tell how his book came about and he will give some background on several of the stories found in the book as well as other cases. A book signing will follow.
Noel B. Poirier is a historian, writer, and non-profit executive who resides in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Noel has worked in the public history field for over 30 years leading history museums and libraries, helping tell the stories of communities across three states. He has written for numerous national and regional history publications, presented at countless libraries and museums, and believes in the power of local history to connect us with the larger American experience.
