AMERICA 250: An Afternoon with CELTIC RUSH on March 15 at Dover Library

/ March 15, 2026

Coming Soon

The event

Celtic Rush, a traditional Irish band from northeast Ohio, will once again celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Dover Public Library on Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 PM. Celtic Rush is a group of friends who have enjoyed performing throughout Northeast Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The group performs with a variety of instruments including fiddle, guitars, tin whistle, upright bass, mandolin, and Irish drum (bodhran). Audiences will enjoy the unique sound of Celtic Rush as they play lively Irish jigs, reels and hornpipes.

“Spending the afternoon with our Celtic Rush friends is a wonderful way to say good-bye to the winter weather and to usher in a brighter and warmer spring,” says Sherrel Rieger, adult programming specialist. “We are so grateful to the Friends of the Library who are sponsoring the concert again this year.”

The Book Cellar will be open 30 minutes before the program and 30 minutes after the program. To register, call the library at 330-343-6123 or visit www.doverlibrary.org/events.
