Fabric art on display at Dover Library

A cozy, colorful world is yours to experience as the Dover Public Library showcases the  fabric art of Penny Gamble.  Beginning her work in 2024 Gamble uses scrap fabric to create scrolls that will warm the heart and excite the mind with her initial scrolls taking at least 2 years to complete. “I find these works to be very interesting.” says Display PR associate Steven Shroyer. “Being a video game fan these works bring to mind some of my favorite Nintendo games like ‘Kirby’s Epic Yarn’ or ‘Yoshi’s Wooly World” Ms. Gamble would like to thank the members of her quilting group for inspiring her and keeping her stocked in scrap fabric.
