MINERAL CITY – Atwood Lake Park is expecting more than 10,000 daily guests for three days of the annual Alive Christian Music Festival.

Performances started Thursday morning and don’t end until Saturday night. In between, more than 40 artists will appear on three stages at the park.

Atwood Lake Park’s swimming beach will be closed to the general public this weekend, mainly due to the lack of available parking during the festival. It will reopen Monday. Seasonal campers and those with camping registrations can still access the beach.

The Alive headliners are three of the most popular artists in Christian music: Skillet on Thursday night, Josiah Queen on Friday and Lauren Daigle on Saturday.

Tickets are still available at alive.org.
