America 250: Cemetery Walk at Dover Burial Park
The event
The Dover Public Library and the Reeves Museum will present a cemetery walk at Dover Burial Park on Saturday, September 19 at 11:00. Local History Librarian Kim Jurkovic, with the possible aid of a few spirits, will give a tour through the cemetery, telling the stories of the area’s history and the people who have come before us. This year, in honor of the 250th birthday of America, the state of Ohio America 250 Commission has created monthly themes. In September we are celebrating Sports and Wellness in Ohio and the Dover Burial Park is the resting place of some of the area’s athletes and will be highlighted on the tour.
