Author Lizzy Hershberger at Sugarcreek Library

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host author Lizzy Hershberger at the Sugarcreek Branch on Tuesday, March 21st, at 6pm. Hershberger will discuss her novel Behind Blue Curtains: A True Crime Memoir of an Amish Woman’s Survival, Escape, and Pursuit of Justice.

Lizzy was raised ultra-conservative Amish in Minnesota and has become recognized as an expert on the Amish culture, as well as an advocate, panelist, speaker and Amish language interpreter, for victims of abuse. She is the co-founder of Voices of Hope Events, a national support network helping women find their own voice. To register for this program visit: TuscLibrary.org
