Author T.B. Pasko at Dover Library

Author and retired police captain T.B. Pasko will be at Dover Public Library at 6:30 PM on Thursday, August 27 to present a program titled “A Novel Idea: Creating stories and characters from a career in law enforcement.” He will share how he used experiences from his career in law enforcement to create the characters and plots of two novels: Knights on the Graveyard Watch and Insolvency. He will read a short selection from each book and talk about the books and the characters. Pasko will welcome questions from the audience. A book signing will follow the program.

T.B. Pasko is a retired police captain with twenty-seven years of law enforcement experience including command assignments in Vice, Narcotics and Uniformed Patrol. He was part of a multi-jurisdictional task force recognized by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office for their work on the investigation, arrest and prosecution of serial killer Richard Beasley. Pasko also appeared on an episode of Investigation Discovery’s Very Bad Men that featured the case. He holds a master’s degree in police administration from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Ashland University. He is a big fan of The Twilight Zone and other classic sci-fi TV shows and movies.
