AVOID BEING A VICTIM OF SCAMS
The event
Sheriff Orvis Campbell, will be at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center on Thursday, January 16th at 12:15 PM. He will talk about how scammers work and how to avoid being their next victim.
All frauds and scams have similar tactics that get their victims to give them money. This presentation will tell how scams and frauds work, what to look for and how to protect you and your family. Campbell says that if people don’t want their money to fall into the hands of scammers, they should slow down and look for these “red flags.”
This program is part of the Lunch and Learn series sponsored by the Dover Public Library on the third Thursday of every month. All programs of this series will be held at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, located at 425 Prospect Street in Dover.
