The event
September is bringing all the creative and educational programming back to the Dover Public Library children’s department. Storytimes will begin again for kids on Wednesdays at 10:30am and 1:30pm. Recommended ages for 10:30am are children under 3 years old and 1:30pm is 3 years and older. The 1:30pm storytime includes a craft relating to that week’s theme. The storytimes are not limited to those recommended ages and there is no registration.
Book clubs will begin again in September with an informational meeting on Tuesday September 10 at 4:00pm. There will be 3 book clubs this fall. The Kaleidoscope Club will meet on the first tuesdays of each month at 4pm. This book club is for children ages 5-7 who are advanced readers or who will help reading before each meeting. The next book club is the Book Wanderers and is for ages 8-12 who can read independently. It will meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 4:30pm. We will have a special One Book One Community book discussion for kids who want to read the OBOC book. Information will be given on Tuesday September 10 with meeting date and time.
Lego night and Playdough Playdate will return in September. Lego night will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 4:00pm. The lego challenge will be a zipline race. Playdough Playdate will begin the 4th Saturday of the month from 10:30am-11:30am. Wacky Wednesday will be added to the line up this fall also. Join Ms Chris on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 4:00pm for various fun events. September’s event will be fun with popcorn STEM activity.
