Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Dover Public Library, Tuscarawas County YMCA and Fourth & Faith will host a series of events called “Mucho Gusto” which means “Nice to meet you.” These events include various speakers, an author, bilingual story times and story walk at the park. People are also encouraged to visit the local “tiendas” or Latino stores. At the end of the month a Latino-themed raffle basket will be awarded. To qualify, participants must pick up a “passport” at the library, YMCA or Fourth and Faith. Every time you go to an event or visit a store, your passport will be stamped. After 8 stamps you can turn in your passport for a chance to win the basket. The drawing will be held on October 20.
