Civil War Roundtable meeting

The Tuscarawas Valley Civil War Round Table will meet on Thursday, January 12 at 6:30pm at the Dover Library. The featured presenter will be Dan Welch, who will present “Rally ‘Round the Flag’”: Color-bearers at Gettysburg.” This presentation will discuss the role color-bearers played in nineteenth century armies and the numerous heroic stories of those who carried these powerful symbols in combat at Gettysburg in July 1863. The program will be held in the Community Room of the library.
