Dog Training Demonstration at Main Library
The event
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System is hosting Katrina Ledwell of Oakley’s Adventures 101 LLC for a dog training discussion and demonstration on Monday, July 28th at 6:00PM at the Main Library.
“There are many dog lovers in our community,” said Adult Customer Service Assistant Deborah Kenney. “While not everyone can afford to put their dog in training lessons, the community can definitely benefit from the knowledge that will be shared during this program.”
Kenney says that she had the opportunity to see Katrina Ledwell’s work in action at festivals over the years and how her work encourages more care and protection for dogs through the training program.
“Anyone who has had owned a dog knows the responsibility that comes with it, and my hope is that this program will encourage the community to recognize that dog training is not just for the safety of others, but also for the safety and well-being of their own dogs,” says Kenney.
Kenney explains that Ledwell will have a Q&A session for customers and that the program will be demonstration-only; no other dogs besides Ledwell’s dog will be permitted.
The Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave NW New Philadelphia, OH 44663. To register for the program, visit the event calendar at tusclibrary.org or call 330-364-4474.
