The event

Presenting on behalf of the Ernest Warther Museum & Gardens, Jennie Arbogast will talk about the life of Frieda Warther, the wife of the master carver. The program will take place on Thursday, February 20 at 12:15 at the Senior Center in Dover.

Frieda Warther was an amazing artist in her own right. She not only collected buttons but she also maintained the gardens at their home that were admired by many. She welcomed thousands of people into her home as she taught classes out of her dining room on flower arranging, wreath making, and card-making. Founder of the Dover Garden Club Frieda helped so many people in so many ways.

This program is part of the Lunch and Learn series sponsored by the Dover Public Library on the third Thursday of every month. All programs of this series will be held at  the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, located at 425 Prospect Street in Dover.
