Dover Public Library Commemorates The Titanic During The Month Of April
The event
The Dover Public Library invites the public to remember the legacy of the RMS Titanic as it features items donated by local Titanic enthusiast Brian Morgan in our display cases during the month of April. The display is in commemoration of the 112 anniversary of the tragic maritime disaster in which 1,517 individuals lost their lives with some on their way to areas in Northeast Ohio such as Akron and Canton. Among the items featured are an actual tile from the first class smoking room, an authentic White Star Line China Plate, and the screenplay to the 1997 film “Titanic” autographed by the film’s director James Cameron. The Dover Public Library is located at 525 N Walnut St, directly across from Dover High School. For more information call the Dover Public Library at 330-343-6123.
