DOVERS GOLD OLYMPIC ATHLETE HUNTER ARMSTRONG STORYTIME AT DOVER PUBLIC LIBRARY

/ October 19, 2024

The event

Dover graduate and Gold Olympic Athlete Hunter Armstrong will visit the Dover Public Library’s children’s department Saturday October 19 at 11am.  Armstrong will read a story to kids and their families in the castle area of the library.  Armstrong is no stranger to the library.  After the 2020 Summer Olympics Hunter visited the library to read a story and answer kids questions about his olympic journey.  Of course, that was not Armstrong’s first visit to the library.  Hunter frequented the library as a child growing up in Dover. He even performed in the library some of his magic tricks when he was younger.  “Hunter is such a blessing to our community” stated Jen Gardner Children’s Department Manager. “He always remembers where he’s from and takes the time to visit and speak with residents in Dover when he can,” Gardner added.  You won’t want to miss this opportunity to speak with our local Olympic athlete and friend of the library.
