Ghosts in the Graveyard program at Dover Library

The event

Local history librarian, Kim Jurkovic invites people to meet her and “Ghosts in the Graveyard” on Saturday, September 20 at 11:00 AM. Jurkovic will lead guests throughout the Maple Grove Cemetery and tell the stories of the people laid to rest in the city’s second cemetery. Guests may encounter some “ghosts” in the graveyard who will share the stories, accomplishments, and tragedies of their lives.

Kim Jurkovic currently serves as the curator at the Tuscarawas County Historical Society and as the Local History Librarian at the Dover Public Library. She recently received the Hero of History Award from the Tuscarawas County Heritage Home Association for her dedication to preserving and sharing our community’s rich history.

Reservations are required and can be made on the Dover Library website www.doverlibrary.org or by calling the library 330-343-6123. This tour will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday morning, September 20 at the entrance to the Maple Grove Cemetery at the corner of W. Slingluff Avenue and N. Walnut Street. Dover.
