Heating Assistance Available Through HEAP
The event
The Ohio Department of Development and the HARCATUS Tri-County Community Action Organization remind Ohioans that assistance is available to help with their home energy bills. The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) helps pay the bills of those who are at or below 175 percent of the federal poverty guidelines. Ohioans can visit EnergyHelp.ohio.gov to apply online, download a copy of the application, or find contact information. When applying, individuals will need their most rent utility bills, a list of all household members (including birthdates and Social Security numbers), proof of income for all household members, proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency for all household members, and proof of disability (if applicable). Applications must be received before May 31st, 2022.
