/ July 21, 2025

The event

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System wants to remind community members to “Color Our World” by inviting them to participate in a Library Bookmark Art Contest through August 1st.
Artwork should be created and submitted as printed artwork that is 2” x 8.”  Artwork can be in any medium—computer art, photography, crayon, watercolor, marker, oil, acrylic, pencil, etc., but it should be one-dimensional for printing purposes. No AI artwork is permitted. Entries will be judged by a three-person panel on how well it conveys the important role a library plays in society, and, especially, how libraries “Color Our World.”
Entries will be accepted at any Tuscarawas County Public Library location during normal business hours. Entries must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Friday, August 1st.  No late entries will be accepted.
The winners will be announced during Library Card Sign-up Month in September. The winning design(s) will be featured on limited edition bookmarks until the supply is exhausted.
Copies of the Bookmark Art Contest entry form, which includes guidelines for the contest, may be picked up at any location of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System or by visiting the library system’s website at www.tusclibrary.org. Those with questions may call 330-364-4474 ext. 221.
