The event
Dover Public LIbrary is happy to host local author Patty Albrecht on Monday, September 15 at 6:30 PM. Albrecht will speak about her writing journey in a program titled “Writing from the Heart”. During the program, Albrecht will read excerpts from books she has already written and talk about her upcoming books. A book signing will follow the program.
Patricia M. Albrecht’s top three things she cherishes most in life include: God, family and friends, and writing. She loves to laugh and make others laugh, attend social gatherings, enjoy God’s creation in nature, and pour her heart out on paper. She lived in New Philadelphia, Ohio, for over three decades. Currently, she lives next to the 135-foot UW-Stout Clock Tower in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where she can see it out her window as she writes away at her desk. Her previous books include: Three Tiny Houses (that weren’t); Thoughts From an Old Lady; On Widow Time; Maneuvering the Madness; Daily Drives With My Father (3 volumes); and Maria’s Journey.
This program will be held on Monday, September 15 at 6:30 PM in the Community Room at the library, located at 525 N. Walnut Street, Dover. Register online at www.doverlibrary.org/events or call the library at 330-343-6123.
