MAKE YOUR OWN MAGIC at Dover Library

The event

Discover the adventurous side of paper in this hands-on talk led by artist and educator Jessika Raisor on Monday, July 21 at 6:30 PM  Participants will explore the global history of papermaking, learn what materials to use and be inspired to create original art supplies. Touch raw materials, hear stories of creative reuse, and walk away with ideas for paper crafts, bookbinding, and beyond. Jessika Raisor is a papermaker, artist, and educator based in Dover, Ohio. With a degree in animation and a background in both digital and traditional media, she began her papermaking journey in 2022 and has taught workshops throughout Ohio, North Carolina, and online. Since 2018, she’s been passionate about helping others connect with creativity through hands-on learning and artistic exploration.
