New York Times Best Selling Author Gregg Olsen

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System and Dover Public Library will host New York Times best-selling author Gregg Olsen this January. Olsen will speak at the Dover Library on Monday, January 15th at 6:30pm and the County’s Main Library on Saturday, January 20th at 11am. Olsen will discuss the mysterious death of Wayne County resident Ida Stutzman in his latest true crime book The Amish Wife. The book details the 1977 death of Stutzman a pregnant wife and mother who authorities believe perished during a barn fire. After her passing a slew of suspicious deaths followed her husband Eli Stutzman Jr. around the country. With the help of Ida’s brother Daniel Gingerich, witnesses, and forgotten letters Olsen uncovers the truth hidden for 45 years. A book sale and signing will follow the programs.
