October Lunch and Learn features former Peace Corps volunteer and science teacher 

Bob Laghetto, retired science teacher, will share his experiences as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana. The program, titled “The World Was My Classroom – My Peace Corps Experience” will be held on Thursday, October 16 at 12:15 at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center. After giving a brief description of the Peace Corps, Laghetto will describe daily life in Ghana and the challenges that he faced as he immersed himself in the local culture. He will also talk about the “reverse culture shock” he experienced when he returned to the United States..

This program is part of the Lunch and Learn series sponsored by the Dover Public Library on the third Thursday of every month. All programs of this series will be held at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, located at 425 Prospect Street in Dover.
