Guy McCort, local author and paranormal documentarian, will present a program titled “The Unseen Truth: Ascending Through Real Paranormal Encounters” on Wednesday, October 22 at 6:30 PM. During the program he will share chilling images and footage from his personal archive. McCort will talk about the emotional and psychological impact of living in a house steeped in paranormal activity and how these experiences shaped his path into paranormal research and storytelling. McCort will demonstrate his techniques for capturing and analyzing phenomena using everyday tools.
Guy McCort is an author, paranormal experiencer, and visual documentarian whose journey began in a haunted house in Ohio. With decades of firsthand encounters and a deep respect for folklore and historical mystery, McCort blends eerie imagery, emotional insight, and investigative rigor to explore the unseen. His writing and visual work invite audiences to confront the reality of paranormal phenomena—not as entertainment, but as lived experience. He and Kayla created Ascending Paranormal to shine a light for people fighting the unknown in the darkness.
