Special exhibit from National Quilting Museum
The event
Historic Zoar Village opens for the 2023 season on Saturday, April 1st and features a new traveling quilt exhibit entitled “History in Pieces” in the Bimler Museum. All museums and buildings will be open, with costumed living history interpreters providing demonstrations about life in the 1850’s. The quilt exhibit features 13 quilts that depict the characteristics and happenings that have made American the “land of the free” and “home of the brave.” It also includes several quilts made in Zoar in the 1800’s.
