Mark McKenzie will speak about the mission and the history of the Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market on Thursday, December 18 at 12:15 at the Senior Center. He will address the value of supporting our local agriculture in providing field-ready food in all its various forms to meet our local food needs. “I look forward to another opportunity to share what it means to eat from local sources and the future of food,” says McKenzie. He will share a video providing a bird’s-eye view of the origins of agriculture and its influence on developing contemporary culture.
