Touch a Truck at Dover Library
Coming Soon
The event
The annual Touch a Truck at the Dover Public Library will return on Saturday September 13 from 10am – 1pm. Walnut St. in front of the library will be closed for the big event. Trucks will be present from Dover Fire Department and Police Department along with city trucks including the electric company’s bucket truck. Rosenberry Towing, Smith Concrete and the library car will be set up for kids to inspect. The Drone Guy may even take a few pictures from above. Some special friends from Jim’s Towing, Mater and McQueen will join this year along with The Bee, a 7ft transformer that will dance and hang out in the crowd from 10am-12pm. “It’s always an exciting day for kids and parents to see all the interesting trucks,” said Children’s Department Manager Jen Gardner.
A free hot dog lunch will be offered from The friends of the Library. Along with drinks from the Dover Exchange Club. The library will also have fun goody bags for the kids while supplies last. A special truck book display and truck craft will also be available in the children’s department.
Come and join the fun for this annual event in front of the library. Any questions about this event or any other events at the library call 330-343-6123 or www.doverlibrary.org
