Tuscarawas County Beekeepers Association meeting
The event
We would like to invite everyone to join the Tuscarawas County Beekeepers Association for our next regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at the Grace Lutheran Church Outreach Center, 208 North Wooster Avenue, Dover, Ohio (GPS Coordinates: 40.52161, -81.47582). This is a new location for us. There is parking around the building, and on the street. Please note that this is separate building from the Church.
Our education program for the evening will be a presentation by Jeff Gabric, President of the Knox County Beekeepers Association, and Owner of My Bee Supply (www.mybeesupply.com). The title of the presentation is “How to make honey from package bees in your first year using a single brood box”. This will be a very interesting topic for both new, and experienced beekeepers!
Please bring your own snacks and/or drinks.
SAVE the DATE! We are putting together our first Honeybee Sustainability Workshop on May 20, 2023, at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds in Dover, OH. We have rented a building at the Fairgrounds, and are working on getting speakers together to do presentations on Sustainable Beekeeping topics. We are also planning to do some presentations or other hands on activities for our newer members.
