Warther family history at Dover Public Library

Author David Warther will present his book Working in Ivory: The Story of the Warther Carvers at 6:30pm on Monday, September 11th at Dover Public Library. The story especially relates to the carvings the family is known for and the knife factory. The story includes a good amount of Dover history, and, being a chronology, it incorporates events in our national timeline as well. The story and presentation brings Mooney Warther’s life into clear perspective – showing the many hardships and problems he endured along with the good times.
