Watercolor classes at Main Library
The event
Adults ages 55 and up can participate in a specialty art series at the Main Library of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System this summer, thanks to a grant from the State Library of Ohio with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Tuscarawas Art Guild President Deb Walker will lead a four-week class centered on watercolor.
“Deb is an exceptional watercolorist with her work focusing on the wonder of nature,” said Public Relations Associate Megan Kovalaske-Grimm. “During this series, participants will explore various watercolor techniques.”
The series will run on Wednesdays in June from 10:00-11:30 AM. Watercolors created by the students will be on display in the Lower Gallery of the Main Library during the month of July. The four-week watercolor series is limited to 15 people who must commit to attend all four classes.
To register for this free series, visit the library’s online event calendar at tusclibrary.org or call 330-364-4474. All classes will take place at the Main Library at 121 Fair Ave. NW in New Philadelphia.
