New Philadelphia to hold first annual Multicultural Festival

NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Sept. 2, 2025) – Mayor Joel Day is inviting the public to the first New Philadelphia Multicultural Festival in the city’s downtown this weekend.

Day says the NPact non-profit organization is hosting the free event from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday outside the Lacey Performing Arts Center on 1st Drive SW.

Day says the celebration Saturday will feature music, dancing, and food from a variety of performers and vendors who represent our community.

Day also says NPact, which stands for New Philadelphia Advancing our Community Together, is always welcomes volunteers. The non-profit group meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 8 a.m. in council chambers at city hall.
