New Tuscarawas County YMCA CEO to start job at month’s end

| October 4, 2022

DOVER (WJER) (Oct. 4th, 2022) – The incoming CEO at the Tuscarawas County YMCA is going to spend some time adjusting to her new role.

Search Committee Chair Brian Marsh says Meagan Shaheen will officially take over on October 31st, which is to be followed by a 90-day transition period.

Marsh says Shaheen, who comes from the YMCA of Central Stark County and is a Minerva native, emerged out of an extensive six-month national search that attracted 26 applicants whittled down to three finalists.

Marsh replaces Tiffany Foxx, who left for another position with the YMCA in the Cleveland area earlier this year.

Retired CEO Keith Lands has been filling in on an interim basis since then.
