FROM THE KENT STATE TUSC PERFORMING ARTS CENTER:

The Performing Arts Center has been notified by AudienceView, our third-party ticket sale vendor, that AudienceView has had a security breach. AudienceView states this breach may have affected customers who purchased tickets between Feb. 17 and Feb. 21. This includes tickets to the Performing Arts Center as well as Kent State University athletic and College of the Arts events. Per AudienceView, the breach may have involved credit card information.

AudienceView has suspended its service to the university as it investigates this matter, and while the service is suspended, the university is unable to sell tickets or access information about purchased tickets. We apologize for the inconvenience that this vendor’s security breach may cause you.

All patrons attending performances of Riverdance this week should arrive early if ticketing assistance is needed. While online ticket sales for future performances have been halted, we’ve implemented an internal procedure outside of the AudienceView platform and are able to sell tickets to upcoming performances. Tickets can be purchased in-person at the Performing Arts Center Box Office as well as by phone at 330.308.6400.

If you have purchased tickets in February for upcoming performances through AudienceView, you may have received a communication from AudienceView about the security breach with information and instructions. Also, we strongly encourage anyone who purchased tickets in February to check your credit card statements carefully and immediately. If you notice any suspicious transactions, please contact your banking institution. Additional questions should be directed to AudienceView at privacy.audienceview@audienceview.com.

The AudienceView platform is not connected to student, employee or university information; this data remains safe and unaffected.

We will update the community when new information becomes available.
