Tuscarawas County High School Football Preview Night set for Aug. 1
DOVER – The first Tuscarawas County High School Football Preview Night will be Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, 425 Prospect Street in Dover.
Sponsored by the Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame, the event will include a meal and a preview of the upcoming football season. Head football coaches from all nine Tuscarawas County schools will share insight on their team, their impact players, and the upcoming season. Members of the community and the media will have the opportunity to ask the head coaches questions as well.
“Tuscarawas County has a very rich history,” says Tom Farbizo, president of the Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame. “The Preview Night will be the start of a great new tradition in our county. Moderated by Hank Keathley, the event will be a wonderful way to support your team and to share your excitement about the upcoming football season.”
Doors will open at 4:45 p.m., the meal will begin at 5:15 and the program will begin at 6:30. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Dover Public Library or online at www.eventbrite.com.
