Tuscarawas County High School Football Preview Night set for Aug. 1
DOVER (WJER) (July 12, 2023) – Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame organizers are progressing with plans to hear direct insight about the upcoming football season.
President Tom Farbizo says their first annual Tuscarawas County High School Football Preview Night will be August 1st at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, with the nine local head coaches invited to come speak.
Farbizo says this was the brainchild of Hall of Fame Secretary and Dover Public Library Director Jim Gill.
He says the Hall of Fame committee members get to do this while seeking nominations to induct their second class in 2024.
Farbizo says tickets are now on sale and they’ll have tables available that can seat up to eight people.
Tickets are $25 dollars and include a meal. Those can be purchased at the Dover Public Library or eventbrite.com.
