Meet Dover Council members on second Saturdays
DOVER – A new councilman is introducing Coffee with Council on the second Saturday of each month.
Cody Jerles says he and fellow Council newcomer Nate Johnson will be at Magic Mugs from 11 a.m. until at least noon this Saturday to meet with constituents.
“It’s just a very informal way to get to meet and chat with people,” Jerles said.
Jerles says other Council members will attend future gatherings. Jerles is one of three new Council members elected this past November.
With Perci Garner, who was appointed in December, and Julie Leggett, who was appointed in August, five of seven Dover City Council members have joined only in the last six months.
